Braxton In
1980, at the age of nine, Nelson began studying music at his
elementary school. He has now become one of the most in demand
bassist, recording engineer, and producers in Northern California.
With thousands of performances under his belt, Nelson's experience
spans many genres from hip-hop to folk music.......from
traditional jazz to hard rock.......from swing bands to salsa
bands.......and his own contemporary jazz group, "The Braxton
Brothers". The groups' first single, a bass and saxophone
duet called "When Love Comes Around," quickly became a
hit, spending several weeks at #1 on U.S. NAC/Smooth Jazz radio

his near 20 years as a professional bassist, Nelson has worked
with Michael Bolton, Chris Botti, Rachelle Ferrell, Richard Marx,
Phoebe Snow, Boz Skaggs, Goapele, Jaguar Wright, Jeff Lorber,
Ledisi, Lina, Ruth, Martin Luther, Steve Miller, Frank McComb,
Lyrics Born, Jean Carne, Norman Conners, Andy Narrell, Barry
Williams of the Brady Bunch, and the Rome Symphony to name a few.
He's done this while at the same time releasing #1 chart-topping
CD's with his own group, The Braxton Brothers.
